18/05/2023

Começamos a trocar mensagens e desenvolver a nossa amizade e parceria nessa música.

Quanto tempo ainda temos, realmente?”
One Day - música, vídeo e interpretação vocal de arrepiar
18/06/2022
Assista One Day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=om7jaF1hgGk

O primeiro single Watching The Sky ganha lyric-video
5/04/2021
O sexteto lançou o single Watching the Sky enquanto preparava seu primeiro álbum For A Better World.
Assista Watching The Sky: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkIZZLEuS34

Lyrics
Inner Prison
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
Sing a song
Just think about your life
Don’t think about the lies
Forget all this
I know you're strong
I know you’ll be alright
Try and forgive the fights
Strive for peace
Why not take
New turns and different ways
Knowing you are not always right
But if you say
You want to stay away
Another week or day
You’ll be left behind
Whatever happened to that smile
I can’t believe in what I see now
Yes, we are dreamers
The solutions are there to be found
You’ll feel no pain
There is so much to gain
Leaving behind the emptiness
Of our past tears
You must accept
When things come to an end
And find the strength
To fight your fears
Find the courage for a new start
And always listen to your own heart
You are surrounded by illusions
You’ll find a way out
Find a way out to someplace
Where you’ll get to shine your light
That you hide behind your eyes
You've got to keep trying
No one can deny the pain you are feeling
Inside of your heart
This is not the right way
You are running away
Free your mind and reason
From your inner prison
Why confine yourself
Locking your mind in a prison cell
Wherever you go
You’ll never be too far apart
From your feelings
They reside inside your heart
Don’t, don’t talk that much
Is this your defense
So you don’t have to listen to anyone?
I know, it’s hard, but do it anyway
You'll find a way
Find a way out to someplace
Where you’ll get to shine your light
That you hide behind your eyes
You've got to keep trying
No one can deny the pain you are feeling
Inside of your heart
But this is not the right way
You are running away
Free your mind and reason
From your inner prison

Prayer
music by Rafael Bittencourt and Andre Bastos
lyrics by Rafael Bittencourt and Andre Bastos
Again you're swallowing your daily hatred
Your selfish vision is leading us to the end
Why demonize the other person's beliefs
When we all got eyes but different points of view
Do you think we need to build more walls
And arm ourselves with the illusions of war?
If we are all for turning words into action
Let's build more bridges to show compassion
And now it is time to help one another
I don't think I'm the only one
A simple start, a gesture of kindness
is more than a thousand words
Sometimes I pray for the world we’ll leave behind
Sometimes I pray for lasting peace for humankind
Sometimes I pray for the world
Now it is time to help one another
I don't think I'm the only one
It's time to break up from selfishness and pride
To build a better world
Sometimes I pray for
The world we’ll leave behind
Sometimes I pray for
Lasting peace for humankind
Sometimes I pray for
The world that we’ll leave behind
Sometimes I pray for
Lasting peace for humankind
Sometimes I pray for
The world that we’ll leave behind
Sometimes I pray for
Lasting peace for humankind

One Day
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
One day in the past
We first met, it was a special night
You say you knew back then
We were supposed to spend together our lives
It took some time
But we're finally where we are
Can't believe we made this far
One day I took a deep breath
And got ready to open my heart
And told you how I felt
How much I cared about you for quite a while
Day and night
Mesmerized by your smile
When it comes alive, I feel that's all I need
In the autumn’s breeze, the warmth of spring
When the sun hits your eyes,
There's the joy it all brings
One day you realized, then you came into my life
Broke down the walls and left all our fears behind
That day you realized, when you came into my life
That this is how it was meant to be from the start
One day you wondered "what's next"?
And realized that maybe it was time
So you took that next step
And now I am with you along this ride
And I’ll be there to dry any tears should you need to cry
Until you smile (until you smile again)
One day you realized, then you came into my life
Broke down the walls and left all our fears behind
That day you realized, when you came into my life
That’s how it was meant to be right from the start
While our dreams guide you and me through this glorious ride
Realizing our dreams, uniting our lives
(a simple look, the channels open, we understand the words unspoken)
We fly through new skies, we climb to new highs
(together we're much stronger)
Close your eyes and fill your heart with all my love
Just know we'll always rise above
You’ve got the purest heart, so much kindness inside
Every day I wake up with the certainty
That I'll be forever by your side
One day you realized, then you came into my life
Broke down the walls and left all our fears behind
That day you realized, when you came into my life
That’s how it was meant to be right from the start
One day you realized, then you came into my life
Broke down the walls and left all our fears behind
That day you realized, when you came into my life
That this is how it was meant to be
Together I'll be, forever by your side

Watching the Sky
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
I am lying here while watching the sky
Looking at the clouds by day, by night I count the stars
I wonder if I’ll ever find the answers that I am after
In the meantime it’s time to commit to doing it right
So now reach deep inside, use your inner eye
Did you know that the burden is much lighter
When you are looking up at the sky?
Watching the sky
And I am waiting for you
Watching as the sun is going down on the horizon
Watching as the time
Keeps on passing by us
As the stars begin to shine up in the sky
I’m lying here and watching the sky
Watching the sky, watching the sky
Lingering in silence
Finding the words we’re longing to hear
In a state of awareness and balance
As we hoped the answer becomes clear
Watching the sky
And I am waiting for you
Watching as the sun is going down on the horizon
Watching as the time
Keeps on passing by us
As the stars begin to shine up in the sky
Watching the sky
And I am waiting for you
Watching as the sun is going down on the horizon
Watching as the time
Keeps on passing by us
As the stars begin to shine up in the sky
I’m lying here and watching the sky
Watching the sky, watching the sky

Freedom
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
Born into this life
Still changing inside
To so many versions of you
But a need to obey
It molds you the way
That pressure is pointing to
And then growing up
Life keeps changing so much
Finding out what lies in store for you
Not fitting in a label
‘Cause the spectrum of the rainbow
Has so many more colors than just two
Now it’s time to find real freedom
And then when life throws you a curveball
Just remember that love is for all
Acceptance, we’re not all the same
And we can rule our own game
Freedom, trying and finding real freedom
Be the one you want to be
Freedom, crying and fighting for freedom
You deserve to be free
Freedom, trying and finding real freedom
Be the best you can be
Freedom, crying and fighting for freedom
Set yourself free
We’ll set all this world free
It’s time to let everyone see
We live in new times
Where respect is due to all our lives
It’s time to live by real freedom
Raise your voice, change the old world into new
Change grows near, still so much left to do
We live in new times
Where respect is due to all of lives
It’s time to live by real freedom
Freedom, trying and finding real freedom
Be the one you want to be
Freedom, crying and fighting for freedom
You deserve to be free
Freedom, trying and finding real freedom
Be the best you can be

Living is more than surviving
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
Life
You wake up every morning in time to face it live
You don't stop to think just go forth and face the grind
You do what you’ve gotta do to make the ends meet
Until exhaustion take its toll and then you’re done
Hey, stop, wait a minute, why keep doing that?
Take a breath and see we are not made to work ourselves to death
Find a real balance, take some breaks when you have a chance
I know what you say in your defense, that you have to dance the dance
It's getting worse when you start losing perspective
Take a look around, don’t you find it all excessive?
If you get out of this bubble, and reflect on
How far you came, and how far you are, what did you expect?
Sooner than you can understand your time comes to an end
What about those dreams you dreamt?
If you let me I will lend a hand
Come on, let’s fight the real fight
While we still have time
Come on, fight back for your life
It’s time you realized
Living is more than surviving
So, what will it be? What happened to your dreams?
Maybe you’re too blind to see, the life that you get to lead
Are you paying attention to the things that really matter?
Beyond the stress and tensions, you know you can do better
Come on, let’s fight the real fight
While we still have time
Come on, fight back for your life
It’s time you realized
Living is more than surviving
More than surviving
Come on, let’s fight the real fight
Come on, let's fight back for our lives
Come on, it’s time you realized
Come on, living is more than surviving

Limits of Reason
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
Here I sit, try to untangle these thoughts
Evaluate and revisit our faults
It’s not that hard to connect all the dots
Still so many chose to ignore it at all costs
Reason and heart clash in insane disputes
When one goes down, the other one always follows suit
There’s only one truth, it’s the goal of our pursuit
Let’s trace this issue right down to its root
Let’s fix this problem, once and for all
We can’t stay forever on the sidelines
We cannot forever be fed by lies
The widespread belief that creatures can be abused
Or cruelly slaughtered, it’s what people got used to
Through no fault of their own
That's how it's always been done
Still it doesn't make it any less wrong
Beyond reason, beyond dreams
Lies the balance of our lives
Beyond reason, spreading seeds
And planting peace in our minds
Beyond reason, reach deep within
Find the shining sign leading our hearts
Beyond reason
Humans push the limits, hungry for more
The data is clear, so why still so ignored?
We’ve reached a point the Earth no longer can afford
We resort to reason and no one answers that door
We’re getting nowhere
As the world is being torn apart
Now it's time to appeal to people’s hearts
As reality gets punished by clueless minds
If we do mind we’ve got to reach out
And find a way before time runs out
We can be together and start the talk
And together we can beat all the odds if we walk the walk
Let’s try being mindful when we speak our minds
Let me remind you that we live in unique times,
We’re not alone, when all is said and done
We still share the same home
Beyond reason, beyond dreams
Lies the balance of our lives
Beyond reason, spreading seeds
And planting peace in our minds
Beyond reason, reach deep within
Find the shining sign leading our hearts
Beyond reason and one’s dreams
Planting seeds, and let's live cruelty-free
Beyond reason

Rage
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
When you feel that rage
Driving you to the edge
Blurring your mind
So don’t take that bait
This path you take
Blind eyes won't see your mistake
Don’t make decisions when you just cannot think straight
One day you may look back with regret
And wish you could take back what you said
The shame that you can’t get rid of
Remember what you are made of
True to yourself guided only by the love
That you feel for life, and you feel you can fight this
Rage burning in your chest
Turning your calm into distress
Remember that all the people should be given a second chance
This blinding rage boiling in your chest
Fight it now, while you’ve still got a chance
Your pride is hurt but don't lose hope
It’s time to look for a better path, a wiser path
In these moments take a look at yourself
See the harm those outbursts do to your health
Slow down and take a deep breath
Free to choose a new path
And find yourself in need of love
That you feel for life, when you feel you can fight this
Rage burning in your chest
Turning your calm into distress
Remember that all the people should be given a second chance
This blinding rage boiling in your chest
Fight it now, while you’ve still got a chance
Your pride is hurt but don't lose hope
It’s time to look for a better path, a wiser path

Sunlight
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
On this sunny morning
Come look up to the sky
While this brilliant beam of life
Begins this brand new day
A new day
Unlike the days before or the ones to come
Although the same almighty light
Will always be up there in the sky
Shine sunlight
Cleanses my soul and takes me higher
Shine sunlight
Feeds the flame of life that burns in my heart
Come and take a look at this blue sky, and open your heart
To all the joy that comes with a brand new start
And all things that this healing light can bring
As you expand your mind with this magic energy
Shine sunlight
Cleanses my soul and takes me higher
Shine sunlight
Feeds the flame of life that burns in my heart
It’s good to know that this majestic sunlight
Will always be present up in the sky
Shine sunlight
Cleanses my soul and takes me higher
Shine sunlight
Feeds the flame of life that burns in my heart
Shine sunlight
Cleanses my soul and connects me to The Highest
Shine sunlight
Feeds the flame of life that burns in my heart

Shouting in the dark
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
You’re not alone, we’re here right now
United against the challenges ahead
No longer can we allow to
Ignore all these issues as they spread
How did we lose sight of it?
We must change this systems for us to progress
You heard them: "I can't breathe"
Their unheard cries are still not addressed
What do I see today?
The start of the change but still so far away, so far away
We’re raising our voices
We’ll continue to be this loud
It’s time to make our choices
Either we’re all in or we’re out
We’re trying to repair
Those mistakes that stain our past
Still, it’s so unfair
Look around you can see all the contrast
But it seems that I still have to explain
Opportunities are never the same, it’s a shame, a rigged game
We’re shouting in the dark
Justice will be our end game
We’re crying in the night
It’s time to put an end to this shame
We’re shouting in the dark
We’ll be sure that change is here to stay
We’re crying in the night
The world will never be the same
The treatment is different that's for real, that's for sure
By most of those who should make us feel secure, so we are
Shouting in the dark
Justice will be our end game
We’re crying in the night
It’s time to put an end to this shame
We’re shouting in the dark
We’ll be sure that change is here to stay
We’re crying in the night
The world will never be the same

Twilight
music and lyrics by Andre Bastos
Some laws of life, under a skyscraper’s lights
Where frogs fly and the great singers die
A dreamer’s revenge comes alive
A melody won’t kill the light
Reinventing a queen in anger’s time
Frustrating the angels, hearing them cry
Don’t feed that monster’s unhealed scars
What if a spirit’s weakness is being a simple-minded?
A preacher that lives a parallel life
Nobody really knows what he feels inside
Trying to make sense of a black messiah’s words
In a dark motel room, so confused, what do all these buttons do?
Within these shadows rise the kings with no reign
A soul is adrift, while it waits for the calming rain
Twilight is painting in red the sky
Bringing an end to the day and to the light
Now the aura welcomes the night
Because life is to be lived in the light and in the dark
A grave that was kept when it was time to fly
While the wizard took a caravan ride
A weird clown was leaving the light
Playing some blackjack throughout the night
Hence in the last day, she ran away
Like a beetle realizing the sounds of ascendant
Twilight is painting in red the sky
Bringing an end to the day and to the light
Now the aura welcomes the night
Because life is to be lived in the light and in the dark
“Will I make you laugh tonight
The sky is dark
Standing straight up I'll shine
And touch your heart
I'll bring your soul relief
And that's my decision
Brothers of soul
Having met you all
Was the best present”
I pray that one day
We’ll find the reason
And fight this rage
And bring back the sun
Crying for freedom to shout out again
Watch the skies above, survive and live,
Now rid yourself of your inner fears
You’ll set yourself free
See the twilight now is here
Twilight is here
Next we'll be holding tight
To the heavens found in these arms
And try to do things right
All through the night
It’s neither real nor a dream
There’s something that lies in between
Stealing away my mind from me
Am I awake or do I dream?
Defeating the distance with a shared desire
Yes, there's a way, so balloons now can fly
A day that the Earth stood still for a while
People played games, time after time
Henceforth no longer missing chances to plant the word
Let’s come together, now it’s time for a better world
Twilight is painting in red the sky
Bringing an end to the day and to the light
Twilight is painting in red the sky
Bringing an end to the day and to the light
Now the aura welcomes the night
Because life is to be lived in the light and in the dark
